Sometimes it rains. Sometimes the kids won’t quit chirping to go outside anyway. What’s a mom to do? Let them out in the mud…they will wash.
I love how my oldest girl (the more girly of the two) loves to dig in the dirt, but must carry her pink umbrella and don her butterfly lip gloss necklace. A girl’s got to look good at all times, I guess.
Did you notice the nose-picking in the background? 
It was fun to watch them dig in the dirt and marvel at the mud. I was reminded (again) to lighten up a little and let them have fun. I encourage you to do the same and see where your imagination takes you.
